Westwood, Century City Gas Prices Continue To Climb

The Los Angeles County area's per-gallon rate has now increased for five consecutive days.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA - The average cost of gasoline rose, yet again, on Wednesday, reaching its highest per-gallon price since June 8.

The Los Angeles County rate has now increased for five consecutive days — in total, 3.4 cents. That value includes a half-cent boost on Tuesday and a 1.1-cent spike on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Aug. 30 average price of $3.048 is 3.3 cents more than one week prior, 9.2 cents higher than one month prior, and 33 cents greater than one year prior.
