Woman Leads Officers on Slow-Speed Chase from Westwood to Beverly Hills
Officers were trying to figure out if this was a mental health issue, a medical issue, or a driving under the influence case.

A woman who led officers on a slow-speed chase in an SUV from Westwood to Beverly Hills was taken into custody today.
Officers began following the SUV because it was being driven recklessly about 12:40 p.m. near Wilshire Boulevard and Glendon Avenue, and they tried to pull it over, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Bruce Borihanh of the Media Relations Section.
The motorist refused to stop and kept going east on Wilshire at a very slow speed, eventually stopping about a half-hour later near San Vicente Boulevard.

After a brief standoff, officers pulled the woman from the vehicle and took her into custody for questioning. Police were trying to determine if the woman was intoxicated or if she was suffering from a medical condition, Borihanh said.
The woman was in custody, but it was not clear if she were going to be arrested or be taken to a hospital for treatment, Officer Taylor Harper at the West Los Angeles Police Station said.
