Woman Reports UCLA Frat House Rape
Police are investigating a report that an unconscious woman was raped at a fraternity house at UCLA.

UCLA police today were investigating a report that a female student was sexually assaulted in a building near campus over the weekend.
Police could not confirm a report in the UCLA Daily Bruin that the woman had been attacked at a fraternity house on Gayley Avenue.
The student went to police about 5:45 p.m. Sunday and said “she was sexually assaulted while incapacitated between (Saturday) at approximately 11:15 p.m. to (Sunday) at approximately 9 a.m. in a building in the neighborhood west of campus,” according to Nancy Greenstein of the UCLA Police Department.

According to the Daily Bruin newspaper, police logs indicate the woman was unconscious or asleep at the time of the alleged crime.

Greenstein said the suspect was described as about 20 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with dark hair and brown eyes.
“Detectives are working with the victim to identify the location of the reported crime,” Greenstein said. “UCLA PD detectives are pursuing a number of leads in this case.”
