Worker Falls Down Deep Hole at Beverly Crest Construction Site
A man fell into a whole two feet wide and 40 feet deep at a construction site on San Ysidro Drive.

LOS ANGELES, CA - Los Angeles firefighters rescued a worker Thursday after he fell down a narrow whole 40-feet deep at a construction site in Los Angeles' Beverly Crest area.
Authorities were called at about 8:40 a.m. to the 1600 block of San Ysidro Drive, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
Crews were able to hoist the man to safety about 9:30 a.m. According to authorities, he did not suffer any major injuries. Traffic was routed away from the area as a precaution during the rescue effort.
