• Community colleges suddenly oppose plan to let them offer more bachelor's degrees (timesofsandiego.com) — New state legislation will cap how many new bachelor's degrees community colleges can add, and Cerritos College's president expects the school could still launch six to eight more starting in 2028. While many community college leaders now oppose the bills, he believes Cerritos can work within the new rules, even as other campuses may face tougher limits and challenges.
