Artesia City Seeks Community Involvement In Project Joy Holiday Programs

Every holiday season, the City of Artesia hosts Project Joy to provide community members most in need with toys and holiday meals. Throughout the 2018 holiday season, Project Joy provided toys to more than 300 children in Artesia, while more than 115 families received holiday meals through the program. Thanks to the City’s sponsors, families also received additional pantry staples to help with meals beyond the holiday season. The City also hosted its annual Holiday Program together with Project Joy, giving kids the chance to see Santa and enjoy music and refreshments.
