Bike-Riding Man Grabbed Woman's Butt in Cerritos: Police

It's the second such incident in the past week, police said.

CERRITOS, CA — A man on a bicycle groped a woman in Cerritos on Thursday and police say it was the second such incident in the past week.

The suspect approached the 41-year-old victim, a resident of Cerritos, from behind about 11:35 a.m. in the area of Carmenita Road and Artesia Boulevard, Deputy Trina Schrader of the Sheriff's Information Bureau said.

He grabbed the woman's buttocks and then continued riding south and out of view, Schrader said.

The suspect is described as 20-25 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 6 feet tall, 140-170 pounds with medium-length curly or wavy brown hair. He was riding a black 10-speed-type mountain bike.

No details about the previous battery were immediately released.
