Cerritos Center Presents 'Dance to the Movies'

From the Cerritos Center: Dance to the Movies is bringing fancy foot works to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) on Sunday, April 2, 3:00 PM. Tickets, which start at $65, are available at the CCPA Ticket Office and cerritoscenter.com or by calling (562) 467-8818.

In a high-octane production, DANCE TO THE MOVIES features celebrity pros from Dancing With the Stars and finalists from So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol, and The Voice.

In a celebration of Hollywood’s best musical moments on the silver screen, Dance to the Movies re-creates and reinvents memorable moments from classic films such as West Side Story, Grease, Chicago, Hairspray, and Moulin Rouge. Choreography to scores from Titanic, The Godfather, and Les Misérables will also be performed. The lineup features Dancing With the Star pros Anna Trebunskaya, Tony Dovolani, and Emmy- nominated choreographer Dmitry Chaplin; So You think You Can Dance veterans Jonathan Platero and Legacy; American Idol’s Todrick; and special guest star and Academy Award nominee Lesley Ann Warren.
