Cerritos Man Arrested in Suspicion of Stanton Gas Station Robbery
The suspect entered the Alliance gas station and brandished a hand gun before fleeing the scene with an unknown amount of cash.

STANTON, CA - A man arrested Tuesday on suspicion of robbing a Stanton gas station may also be linked to several other robberies in the area, authorities said.
The suspect entered the Alliance gas station on Cerritos Avenue around 5:20 a.m. and brandished a hand gun before fleeing the scene with an unknown amount of cash, according to Lt. Mark Stichter of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
Police were able to locate the man, later identified as Christian Suazo, 37, of Artesia, around 6:30 p.m. in Lakewood, Stichter said.

Suazo was arrested on suspicion of robbery in the Stanton incident, but detectives are investigating whether he may be connected to other robberies in the area, Stichter said.
"Investigators are looking at connecting him to several other robberies in our jurisdiction and in other jurisdictions," Stichter said.
