Cerritos Plans Patriot Day Concert for Sept. 11
The city will host a special concert on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Park.

The city of Cerritos will host a special concert next week in honor of all those affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks, on the twelfth anniversary of the tragic day.
Dubbed the "Patriot Day Concert," the event will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Park.
"The event will be held in honor of the victims and heroes affected by the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001," a press release from the city states. "The evening will include a brief ceremony with the Cerritos City Council, a moment of silence and a concert featuring patriotic music."
Other features of the event will include a "patriotic craft" for children ages 6 to 11 and snacks (for a nominal fee).
No pets will be allowed into the park during the event.
