The Music Department of Cerritos College will host a Commercial Music Fair from June 24 – 26, 2014. The three-day event will introduce attendees to the courses and technology available through the Commercial Music program at Cerritos College. The College will present a series of workshops and presentations on the music industry, electronic music production, and recording technologies. The Fair will feature products by Ableton, Avid, Apple, Arturia, Izotope, McDSP, and Native Instruments; all of which are available for students enrolled in the Commercial Music Program.
The Fair closes with an outdoor concert hosted by the Portable Entertainment Technology program, which is part of the Theater Department. Attendees can attend the sound check before the concert and learn about the stage and live sound courses taught by the Theater Department. The live concert will feature student groups and special guests.
