Driver Killed in Crash into Norwalk VFW Building ID'd as Martin Castro Jr.
Castro was pronounced dead at the scene and his passenger was rescued and taken to a hospital in critical condition.

NORWALK, CA -- The driver killed when his car crashed into a Veterans of Foreign Wars building in Norwalk was publicly identified Monday.
He was Martin Castro Jr., 21, of Norwalk, according to coroner's Lt. Larry Dietz.
The single-vehicle crash was reported at 1 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Front Street and Funston Avenue, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Eric Arias said.

Castro was pronounced dead at the scene and his passenger was rescued and taken to a hospital in critical condition, Arias said.
No one was in the VFW building at the time of the crash.
