A lecture and demonstration of Chinese calligraphy by Dan Zhu. He will discuss this ancient art form and demonstrate using "the four Treasures of the study," which include the ink brush, ink stick, paper, and ink stone. The use of seals in place of signatures also will be discussed. Selected items from the artist's private collection will be on display.
