The Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles is a spectacular resource for public astronomy. Folks who attend this excursion can explore space with their own eyes at the Observatory, take a cosmic journey at the Samuel Oschin Planetarium Theatre and participate in other starry activities all designed to educate and delight.
Ages 5 and older are welcome, but children under 14 years of age must pay and be accompanied by a paying adult. The bus will leave Heritage Park promptly at 4 p.m. and return at approximately 10 p.m. Waiver is required. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time to complete required paperwork. Registration for this excursion is non-transferable. No refunds will be given.
