HAIR the musical at Cerritos College

The American Tribal-Love Rock Musical opens on Friday May 1st and runs for two weeks.

The Cerritos College Theatre Department offers HAIR, the American Tribal-Love Rock Musical. Grammy Award winner for Best Score from an Original Cast Show and Tony Award winner for Best Revival of a Musical. A Tony Award-winning musical that rocked the world to it’s core with its powerful message fueled by its sensational unforgettable music. Though the story is set in 1968, the story and the socio-political message remain current and true to modern times. This show hasn’t been in the Los Angeles area in a long time and won’t come back in an even longer time. It last was produced on the Burnight Stage 30 years ago with well-known actor John Corbett as Bukowski.
