Kelly Clarkson to Perform at Grand Opening of Microsoft at Los Cerritos Center

In celebration of the opening of Microsoft at Los Cerritos Center, Microsoft is hosting a special performance by Kelly Clarkson on Saturday, Nov. 22. Customers who attend the Microsoft store grand opening ceremonies at 10:30 a.m. PT on Saturday, Nov. 22will have a chance to receive tickets to the special performance also on Saturday. The first 1,000 people in line for the ribbon cutting ceremony will receive a pair of tickets to see Kelly Clarkson perform live and a chance to win a Meet & Greet with her (100 spots available).

Attendees at each new store opening will also be able to purchase a Toshiba Encore 8-inch 32GB tablet for just $99 or an Xbox 360 4GB for only $99. This offer is limited to one per customer while supplies last.

Microsoft’s Los Cerritos Center retail store will be 1,807 square feet (sales floor only) and marks Microsoft’s 13th retail store in California. Microsoft is expanding its existing retail footprint in the U.S. to deliver a premium retail experience that is entertaining and educational and gives customers choice, value and service with their technology purchases.

In 2009, Microsoft Corp. opened its first Microsoft retail store in Scottsdale, Ariz. Since then, Microsoft has opened 104 retail locations and welcomed more than 400 million customers to our full line, specialty and online Microsoft retail store properties in more than 189 countries worldwide.

Here’s the schedule:

10:30 a.m. PT – Grand Opening Ceremony. Join Microsoft for a ribbon-cutting ceremony where we will present more than $1 million in technology grants. In addition, the first 1,000 people in line, at minimum, will receive a pair of tickets to see a special performance by Kelly Clarkson and a chance to win a Meet & Greet with Clarkson.

11 a.m. PT – Doors open for a full Saturday of celebration. Microsoft will host giveaways and customers can take advantage of great deals on PCs, tablets, Windows Phones, Xbox releases and more.

5 p.m. PT – Gates open for a special performance by Kelly Clarkson. Ticket holders will be allowed to enter concert location, standing room only.

7 p.m. PT—Kelly Clarkson concert begins!
