La Mirada Woman With Dementia Missing

LA MIRADA, CA -- Sheriff's detectives asked for the public's help this week to find a missing 68-year-old woman from La Mirada who is suffering from dementia.

Sun Ja Choi was last seen at her home in the 13000 block of La Jolla Circle around noon on Thursday, according to Deputy Kelvin Moody.

Choi suffers from dementia and her family was very worried that she was missing, Moody continued.

Choi is about 5 feet tall and weighs roughly 90 pounds, Moody said. She has short, black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a red shirt and blue jeans.

Deputies asked anyone with information on her whereabouts to call 911 or the sheriff's Missing Persons detail at (323) 890-5500. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
