Lakers Warn Fans of Fake Playoff Ticket Scams
The organization says Lakers Ticket Exchange at Lakers.com "is the only secondary site where purchases are authenticated and verified by Ticketmaster.
The Los Angeles Lakers issued a fraud alert today, warning fans about the potential dangers of purchasing 2013 playoff tickets from third-party sources.
Lakers Ticket Exchange at Lakers.com "is the only secondary site where purchases are authenticated and verified by Ticketmaster, and fans will be assured entrance into Staples Center on game nights," Lakers Senior Vice President of Business Operations Tim Harris said.
"Lakers fans can save themselves the aggravation and frustration of being denied access to a game by buying tickets directly from us or at Lakers Ticket Exchange at Lakers.com," Harris said.

The site allows fans to purchase tickets that would be unavailable otherwise, including lower bowl tickets. Ticket prices for the Lakers Ticket Exchange at Lakers.com are established by each individual when the tickets are posted for sale and often exceed face value, Harris said.
