Man Injured in Cop Shooting in Downey
The suspect was taken to a hospital, but a condition report was not made available.

DOWNEY, CA — A man was wounded Thursday morning in an officer-involved shooting in Downey.
Police from neighboring Bell Gardens were involved in the shooting, which occurred about 11:30 a.m. in the 8000 block of Allengrove Street, according to according to Deputy Ryan Rouzan of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
The suspect was taken to a hospital, but a condition report was not made available. No officers were hurt.

Although the shooting occurred in Downey, none of the city's officers were involved in the shooting, a Downey police detective said.
Sheriff's Homicide Bureau detectives were assisting Bell Gardens police in the shooting investigation.
