Man Killed in Gang-Related Drive-By Shooting ID'd
The shooting appears to have been gang-related, but no suspect descriptions were released, police said.

NORWALK, CA - Authorities on Tuesday released the name of a man who was killed in a gang-related, drive-by shooting in Norwalk that also left two others wounded.
The victim was identified by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department as Ruben Gomez, whose age and city of residence were not immediately released.
The shooting was reported at 11:38 p.m. Monday in the 13000 block of Elmcroft Avenue.

Gomez was standing in the street with three men and a woman when a dark- colored SUV drove alongside them and someone inside began shooting, said Deputy Kimberly Alexander of the Sheriff's Information Bureau. The vehicle was last seen heading south on Elmcroft.
Gomez was pronounced dead at the scene and two of the men who were with him sustained gunshot wounds to the body and were hospitalized in stable condition, she said.
