Man Killed in Shooting on Bell Bike Path ID'd
An unidentified man walked up to the victim at the exit of a bike path and opened fire, striking the victim once in his upper body.

BELL, CA — Authorities identified the 24-year-old man fatally shot off a bike path in Bell, authorities said.
He was Raul Cervantes of Bell, according to the coroner's office.
It happened about 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the 5400 block of Gage Avenue, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Ryan Rouzan.

An unidentified adult male suspect walked up to the victim at the exit of a bike path and opened fire, striking the victim once in his upper body, Rouzan said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect fled eastbound on Gage Avenue, Rouzan said.
A description of the suspect was not available.
