Motorist Killed In 605 Rollover Crash Identified As Police Officer
The man was identified as an off-duty Monterey Park police officer, authorities said Tuesday.

NORWALK, CA – An off-duty Monterey Park police officer was the motorist who was killed in a rollover crash on the San Gabriel River 605 Freeway in Norwalk, authorities said Tuesday. The motorist died at the scene of the single-vehicle crash that was reported at 5:28 a.m. Monday at the Glen Anderson 105 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Monterey Park Police Department identified the man as 36-year-old Officer Adrian Carrillo. An investigation into the crash was being conducted by the CHP.
"Officer Carrillo had been with the Department since December of 2015 and was well-liked by both his colleagues and the community," a city statement said. "We grieve alongside his family and friends."
