Never Too Late or Now Too Early for a Yogurtland Run

Now open at 7 am, Yogurtland's Lakewood location is offering breakfast.

Just when it appeared Yogurtland’s hours of operation seemed plentiful enough to provide craving-driven customers with inventive frozen yogurt flavors and boundless topping combinations, the popular company goes and adds a breakfast menu intended to pizzazz the 7 a.m. hour. Yogurtland is testing this new breakfast option at its Lakewood Blvd and Del Amo location where fans can enjoy a number of original and healthy items.

Making their delicious debut, Yogurtland proudly presents the Croiffle™ and the Cinnaffle™. The Croiffle™ is the effect when crossing the flaky goodness of a croissant with a freshly made waffle. If that doesn’t sound worth a first try, perhaps the Cinnaffle™ can entice those who have been dreaming of uniting a cinnamon roll with a waffle.

Developed by Yogurtland’s chief flavorologist Scott Shoemaker, the Croiffle and Cinnaffle are Yogurtland’s riffs on the popular cronut, with a taste and texture that play harmoniously with yogurt and toppings.

Other new items include the Fresh-Yo that is available two ways - protein-packed low-fat Greek yogurt and regular non-fat vanilla yogurt; the Awesome Bowl which combines nutritious frozen acai and creamy yogurt with breakfast-appropriate toppings, and then there are a variety of fresh fruit purees to add bright flavors to your cup.

The Lakewood Yogurtland location will feature one more juicy detail. Yogurtland will be sizing up breakfast with several juices made fresh daily. Flavors include Green Thumb, Carrot Patch, Beet Box and Berry & Banana.

Croiffles and Cinnaffles are $2.50, and the weight will be deducted from the cup total. Other bakery items will be $1.50. Toppings will remain priced the usual Yogurtland’s per ounce. In Lakewood, that is 41-cents an ounce. Juices are 16-ounces and will be $3.50.

This store will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.

Fans of Yogurtland can expect the same quality experience of hand-cut fruit, fresh yogurt and quality ingredients during its new breakfast hours.
