Pedestrian Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver At Artesia Freeway Onramp

BUENA PARK, CA -- A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed Tuesday on an offramp from the westbound Artesia (91) Freeway in Buena Park, and a hit-and-run motorist was being sought.

The female, whose age was not immediately known, died at the scene of her injury, which occurred about 4:50 a.m. on the Valley View Street offramp, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The offramp was closed while an investigation was conducted. The hit-and- run vehicle was described only as a black pickup truck. No description was released of the driver.
