Powerball-Winning Ticket Sold In Anaheim

The ticket, which matched five numbers but missed the Powerball number, is worth nearly half a million dollars.

LOS ANGELES, CA ― A Powerball ticket is worth $480,287 Sunday, after the multi-state Powerball lottery machines picked it as a runner-up winner.

The ticket was sold by a Chevron gas station at the corner of Ball Road at State College Boulevard in Anaheim, lottery officials said Sunday. It bears winning numbers 5, 22, 45, 47, and 54.

But it missed the $204 million jackpot, by failing to have the red Powerball number: 3.
