CERRITOS, CA - Reports of a possible shooter Sunday afternoon at the Cerritos mall were unfounded, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in Cerritos. Authorities conducted a walk through of the mall after receiving second-hand information of a man with a gun and were unable to corroborate the information. The mall was not evacuated during the walk through.The Sheriff's office said it was safe to shop at the mall, adding that there was no criminal activity. Sheriff's deputies will be at the mall during business hours.Check back for updates on this story
