Sheriff's Deputy, Woman Injured In La Mirada Crash

LA MIRADA, CA — A deputy and a civilian were injured Wednesday in a two- vehicle collision in La Mirada.

The crash was reported about 5:20 p.m. at the intersection of Imperial Highway and La Mirada Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

A male deputy and a female civilian both complained of pain and were taken to a hospital, according to the sheriff's department.

Images from the scene showed a van that was involved in the crash and a marked patrol car with its front end smashed.
