Teen Killed in Shooting at Graduation Party in Artesia Over Weekend ID'd
A preliminary investigation revealed that four unknown men arrived at the party and 'a confrontation ensued' and three people were shot.

ARTESIA, CA - The coroner on Monday released the name of a teen killed in a shooting at a graduation party in Artesia in which two men were wounded.
He was 17-year-old Angel Soto of Moreno Valley, according to coroner's Lt. Larry Dietz.
The shooting was reported at 10:20 p.m. Saturday in the 18000 block of Alburtis Avenue, according to Deputy Lisa Jansen of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

The victim identified as Soto was shot in his upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene, Jansen said. Two others were taken to a hospital in fair condition, she added.
