Whiz Kid: Jasper J. Huang

NAME: Jasper J. Huang, 11 years old

ACCOMPLISHMENT: Huang, who has lived in Cerritos since 2004, has achieved the highest grades in math since he started elementary school and often scores 100 percent on his tests. He considers math challenging but fun.

KEY TO AWESOMENESS: He enjoys playing online computer games and is interested in computer programming. He's also a whiz when it comes to fishing, in which he has partly honed his craft in Alaska where he caught several salmon, and often spends his weekends on deep sea-fishing trips with his uncle. Huang also enjoys playing tennis and cooking omelettes and quesadillas for himself and his mom Grace.
