BELLFLOWER, CA -- Authorities Tuesday identified a Bellflower woman who was fatally shot at her residence, allegedly by her ex-boyfriend, who remains at large.
The shooting was reported about 1:35 p.m. Monday in the 16000 block of Cornuta Avenue, according to Deputy Kimberly Alexander of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
Kenia Buckner, 31, died at the scene, the coroner's office reported.

Homicide detectives learned that Buckner's ex-boyfriend entered her apartment with a handgun and shot her at least once, Alexander said. He then fled southbound on foot.
Buckner was a mother of three -- two 10-year-old twins and a 6-year-old girl -- and was working as a hairstylist while she was in nursing school, neighbors told KCAL9. She was gunned down in front of her family, KCAL9 reported.

Authorities identified the suspect as 27-year-old Antowan Ladell Parker Jr. and warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous, Alexander said.
Parker was described as black, 5 feet 9 inches, 230 pounds with braids and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about the shooting or Parker's whereabouts was urged to call the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
