32 Fire Burning In Butte County
BREAKING: The blaze is now about 75 percent contained, according to Cal Fire Butte County.

BUTTE COUNTY, CA — A brush fire burning in Butte County has consumed almost 30 acres and is roughly 75 percent contained, Cal Fire officials said. The blaze, which was originally reported to have burned 60 acres, was reported in the area of Highway 32 and Humboldt Road near Chico late Monday morning. Fire officials said better mapping helped them revaluate the total acreage burned.
The California Highway Patrol has been assisting with traffic control along Highway 32. No evacuation orders have been issued.
