Your responses will guide how the university plans housing options and amenities, and participants can enter a drawing for a new cruiser bike, with all feedback kept confidential and reported only in summary form.
2. Chico Police searching for stabbing suspect (actionnewsnow.com) — Police are still searching for a suspect after a man was seriously stabbed inside a home on Ceres Avenue in Chico Friday afternoon, prompting extra overnight patrols in the neighborhood. Residents are urged to stay alert, review any security camera footage, and immediately call 9-1-1 rather than approach the suspect if they believe they see him.
3. Man sentenced in Chico crimes back in custody (actionnewsnow.com) — A man who once received three life terms for kidnappings and a rape committed in Chico in 2000 is back in custody after Sacramento County deputies reported suspected parole violations. Local prosecutors note he was released under California's youth offender parole law, and officials say he could be freed again within days pending parole decisions.
