Dog Rescued From Chico House Fire
The pup was taken to a nearby animal hospital following the dramatic rescue.

CHICO, CA — Firefighters in Chico rescued a dog from a house fire Tuesday. The blaze was reported in a building near Chestnut Street at about 10 a.m., according to fire officials. Chico Fire-Rescue crews battled the flames and saved the pup, who was nearly unconscious and had very labored breathing.
The pup was given some oxygen and taken to a nearby animal hospital, according to the Chico Fire-RescueTwitter. The cause of the fire not known. No other information is available.
