Arcade Creek Park Preserve Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting

Family Nature Activities and Ribbon Cutting Celebration

Citrus Heights, California – The Sunrise Recreation and Park District (SRPD) is excited to invite the community out to the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Celebration for the Arcade Creek Park Preserve, the newest park in the Citrus Heights area. The Grand Opening Ceremony will take place at 1:00PM on Saturday, November 1st. Ribbon cutting and presentations begin place at 1:30pm. The Arcade Creek Park Preserve features an extensive trail system with exercise equipment and play features throughout. Highlights include the areas first free public zip line, boardwalk, and nature area.


The event is open to the public and will include presentations from Supervisor Roberta MacGlashan,County of Sacramento, Mayor Mel Turner, City of Citrus Heights and Assembly Member Ken Cooley, a ribbon cutting ceremony and free activities for all ages.

The entrance of the Arcade Creek Park Preserve is located at 6377 Bonham Circle in Citrus Heights, 95610. The nearest cross streets are Sun Hill Drive and Sunrise Blvd.
