Bera and Lungren to Debate Sept. 25

The two men hoping to represent Citrus Heights and other areas after the November election will debate each other in two weeks.

The debate, between Dan Lungren and Ami Bera, will be held at 3 p.m. on Sept. 25 at the News10 studios, 400 Broadway in Sacramento, according to The Sacramento Bee. It's being sponsored by News10, Capital Public Radio and The Sacramento Bee. Those websites will stream the debate live, and News10 and Capital Public Radio will rebroadcast it the following day.

Lungren said in a statement that he was looking forward to the debate, and Bera said he wants to discuss "values and leadership that are missing in Congress," according to the Bee.
