Starting May 6, anyone 18 years or older living in Sacramento County (which includes Citrus Heights) can now get tested for COVID-19 simply by completing an online screening survey. Once the survey is completed, participants will be eligible for an appointment at the drive up Mobile Testing Site at Cal Expo. Previously, this free testing was open to those exhibiting certain symptoms, this is no longer the case — anyone 18+ can now be tested after filling out the online screening survey, and it’s free!

Please note, this testing site is not intended for people experiencing severe symptoms such as severe cough, severe shortness of breath, severe fever, or other concerning symptoms who may need more immediate medical care. There is no medical care provided on-site and NO walk-ups will be accepted — it is appointment only. Participants must come to their appointment in a car that has windows that roll up in order to protect both the patient and the onsite workers.
