Citrus Heights Immediate Residential Garbage Collection Changes

NOTICE - Effective immediately, in response to COVID-19 concerns, the following services will be modified:

Drivers will be servicing cart contents only. (Weekly garbage cart, alternate green waste cart and recycling cart) See collection calendar here. Sharps Collection, Curbside Battery and Used Oil Collection services are temporarily suspended. (Residents may take these items to the North Area Recovery Station (NARS) Household Hazardous Waste Facility.)Bulky pick-ups / Neighborhood Clean Ups (NCU) is temporarily suspended. Neighborhoods normally scheduled for NCU during April may take their items for FREE to the Republic Services transfer station at 8642 Elder Creek Road, Sacramento.**Limited to 2 loads (equal to the size of a pick-up truck bed) per household.
