Citrus Heights: Single Mom Strong - EmpowerME Summer Camps

Single Mom Strong offers Non-School Day care programs, including Spring and Summer Break Camps, called EmpowerME Summer Camps. The EmpowerME Camps are designed to be a safe, fun, and affordable.

During the COVID-19 crisis Single Mom Strong will provide support for families living in Citrus Heights. Scholarships are available for the Non-School Day Care program for school-aged children of parents working in essential service fields who live in Citrus Heights. No one plans for your child to be out of school and affordable options are difficult to find. In addition, Non-School Day care programs are ALWAYS offered at rates 40% lower than most care providers and will be open throughout the summer.

A typical day at EmpowerME Summer Camps includes a variety of activities including a STEM activity; lessons in science, technology, engineering and math. In addition, reading, writing, a values-reinforcement activity, indoor and outdoor playtime, and a morning and afternoon snack will be provided.

The EmpowerME Summer Camp is are located at Single Mom Strong 7525 Auburn Boulevard, Suite 5, Citrus Heights and is open from 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM during the COVID-19 crisis. As a reminder, it is crucial that the Center maintains the health and safety of your child and the staff, there will be an increase in cleaning/disinfecting, hand washing and temperatures will be regularly checked.
