The Community Emergency Response Team, or "CERT,"
was established in 2003. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District was the
first agency in the Sacramento Region to establish a CERT program. Metro Fire
continues to be a leader in the region through its use of Professional
Responders as subject matter experts during training modules and willingness to
incorporate the CERT program into the emergency operations within the District.

    This
unique recycling fundraiser event is sponsored by ReUseIt, a registered,
commercial fundraiser in the state of CA and a local business that provides
support & service to nonprofit organizations in our local communities. The
ReUseIt team has over 40 years of experience in the household recycling
industry, and is dedicated to making a difference locally. ReUseIt offers local
nonprofit organizations the opportunity to raise important funds for their
cause without having to spend a dime. All donations are tax deductible.
