Emanate Health Chief Medical Officer, Gurjeet Kalkat, MD and Emergency Medicine Physician, Kevin V. Hua, DO have been named Top Doctors by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Gurjeet Kalkat, MD is the chief medical officer for Emanate Health. Before he took on this role he was the medical director of Foothill Presbyterian Hospital in Glendora. He also served as the chief of staff at Foothill Presbyterian Hospital in 1997. Dr. Kalkat has been with Emanate Health since 1992. As a leader at Emanate Health, he is the voice that staff, physicians and the community lean on to provide critical health news and information. He has more than 37 years of experience in the medical field. He provides integrated, quality and efficient medical care to the patients in San Gabriel Valley. Dr. Kalkat graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India before attending Prince George's Hospital Center in Cheverly, Maryland for an internship and residency. His fellowships were completed at Mount Carmel Mercy Hospital in Detroit, Michigan & Keck Medicine of USC in Los Angeles.

Kevin V. Hua, DO has been practicing Emergency Medicine for 12 years and has been associated with Vituity since 2011, where he currently serves as the emergency department operations director at Emanate Health Inter-Community Hospital. He is an active member of the Emanate Health Medical Center and Hospital. He is an active member of the Emanate Health Medical Center and Foothill Presbyterian Hospital Medical Staffs. Under his stewardship, Emanate Health has experienced an improved door-to- identification time from 61 minutes down to 13 minutes. Dr. Hua has been a champion for sepsis surveillance and continues to improve delivery of sepsis care. Dr. Hua attended Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California before completing an internship and residency at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan.
