Students at Palomares Academy High School in Pomona were moved to Pomona High School while authorities checked into a threat made against the school.
“This action is being taken as a precaution to ensure continued student safety,” Pomona Unified School District Spokesman wrote in a news alert.
Details about the threat have not yet been disclosed. Students will not be released to parents at the Palomares campus, Hightower wrote. Instead students will only be released to adults who are on their emergency contact card and can show photo ID, officials said.
