CLAREMONT, CA — The Claremont City Council will consider additional funding for the city's Temporary Housing Stabilization and Relocation Program at its next meeting on Oct. 13, the city announced.
The city stopped accepting new applications Jan. 31, but households already enrolled will continue receiving monthly rental assistance through December.
Without additional funding, the program is scheduled to end Dec. 31.
Residents who want to submit written comments for the council's consideration can email Kwand@claremontca.gov. Comments received by noon Thursday, Oct. 8, will be included with the staff report.
Residents also can also comment during the city council meeting in person or on Zoom, following city meeting procedures.
