2. Claremont Begins Citywide Speed Limit Sign Updates (patch.com) — Drivers in Claremont should prepare for updated speed limit signs and fresh pavement markings as the city rolls out its 2026 traffic survey changes over the next three weeks. 4. Harvey Mudd and University of Waterloo Partner on Interdisciplinary Fellowship (hmc.edu) — Harvey Mudd College students from Claremont are teaming up with peers in Canada and Mexico through a new Sustainability and Social Entrepreneurship Fellowship focused on real-world water, energy, and food challenges. Their summer projects in Waterloo explored cutting food waste, improving water infrastructure, and reducing river salt pollution, giving Claremont-based students hands-on international experience in sustainable engineering and policy design.
5. 'A Long Talk' trainings headline new P-P athletic anti-racism reform (tsl.news) — Pomona-Pitzer athletics in Claremont has rolled out mandatory "A Long Talk" anti-racism trainings for more than 550 student-athletes, coaches, and staff this semester.
