CLAREMONT, CA — Claremont residents were invited to join Mayor Jennifer Stark and city park rangers for a guided walk along Thompson Creek Trail on Saturday, Nov. 21, the city announced on Wednesday.
Organizers encourage residents to take part in the event to experience one of Claremont's popular recreational trails while connecting with fellow community members and learning more about the area's natural surroundings.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. and offer participants of all fitness levels an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, learn about the trail and connect with the mayor in an informal setting, the city said.
A meet-and-greet with Stark and park rangers is scheduled for 10 to 10:15 a.m., followed by a guided hike from 10:15 to 11 a.m. An interpretive display will be available from 11 to 11:30 a.m.
