Construction To Begin Soon At Claremont's Park View Development

CLAREMONT, CA — Construction is expected to begin in the coming weeks at the Park View development, formerly known as La Puerta, as Taylor Morrison prepares to build retaining walls and begin work on model homes, the city said.

Retaining wall construction will begin along the northern and eastern portions of the property and continue throughout the month. Construction of the development's model homes is expected to begin in approximately four weeks, according to the city.

Pavement improvements are also scheduled to begin Nov. 4, weather permitting. The work will include grinding and overlaying pavement on the east side of Forbes Avenue, along with completing the remaining pavement improvements within the development, the city said.

Taylor Morrison has provided written notice to all affected neighbors regarding the scheduled work, the city said.
