CLAREMONT, CA — The Claremont Unified School District will host a community gardening event Nov. 5, inviting residents to help maintain a community garden while learning about resources available to local families, the city said.
The Garden & Art Prep event is scheduled from 3:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the CUSD Student and Family Resource Center, the city announced on Thursday.
The event provides an opportunity for community members to spend time outdoors, connect with others and give back to local families, the city said.
Participants will take part in hands-on gardening activities and help care for the community garden while learning about the programs and services offered through the center, the city said.
More information about the event, including registration, can be found here.
