In 5 years, ArtReach has become a one-of-a-kind opportunity for high school students to create and display their artwork that each year is made to respond to a new theme, this year, The Art of Metaphor.

More than 250 selected works from 14 different school districts and 50 classrooms throughout the region, one can experience a unique display of original ideas and creativity from a diverse range of artists.

The gallery will be open to the public, following the opening, Friday-Sunday from 12-5pm until March 27th.

As part of The Learning Centers at Fairplex, the Millard Sheets Art Center offers year-round exhibitions, educational programs, events and workshops so that visitors can enjoy meaningful, fun experiences through the visual arts. It works with local schools and community groups to create a unified arts culture and fill the voids left by budget cuts so that access to the arts continues. Building on its rich history, the center is dedicated to continuing its work so that future generations can better appreciate and understand their history and culture through art.
