Boy Airlifted to Hospital After Crashing into Car in San Dimas
The crash happened at around 1:30 p.m. at the corner of Second Street and San Dimas Avenue. The driver remained at the scene.

SAN DIMAS, CA -- A 12-year-old boy was injured when he crashed into by a car Tuesday afternoon in SanDimas and was airlifted to County-USC Medical Center, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department sergeant said.
The crash happened at around 1:30 p.m. at the corner of Second Street and San Dimas Avenue, Sgt. Vicki Gregory of the San Dimas Sheriff's Station said.

The boy was riding a bicycle when he crashed into the car, she said.
"He was not wearing a helmet and was airlifted to USC as a precaution," Gregory said.

The driver remained at the scene and was not expected to be charged with any crimes.
The boy's condition is unknown at this time.
