Witt's complete game gives Claremont a 10-1 win

Claremont won its third game in a row as the push for the playoffs begins

By Elsie Ramos

Claremont baseball is back to its winning ways, as it won its third game in row Tuesday, 10-1, against Charter Oak (3-9).

The Wolfpack (7-5) got off to a quick start, scoring two runs in the first inning, but they really put the game away in the fifth inning when they scored five runs off of two hits. With the bases loaded, shortstop Nick Costello delivered a bases clearing triple to give Claremont a 9-0 lead. They would add one more run on a RBI single by Matt Donley.
