POMONA, CA – The California Highway Patrol reported this afternoon that two northbound lanes of the Orange (57) Freeway were closed due to a brush fire burning near Temple Avenue in Pomona.
The blaze scorched about eight acres, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. An inspector said no one was injured and no structures were threatened.
